Love my Bella!
So, how did I live without Bella! Did I mention I love to give inanimate objects a gender? So Bella is a she, named after the brand name, she is a knock-off of an Instant Pot. She has made cooking a fun and easy task. While some say advances in technology can sometimes be too much, a pressure cooker is nothing but amazing! And, a pressure cooker these days is also known as an instant pot. It is a must in these busy times. They come in all sizes and with everyone trying to meal prep, this amazing pot is nothing short of a MIRACLE!!!!!
I received her as a Christmas, just in time for the spring semester to start. Come January, since I go to school three nights per week and the hubs works his butt off; I immediately started using Bella and I created all sorts of wonderful meals.
From tortilla soup to brown rice and chicken and even boiled eggs. I went on and on using Bella as much as possible.
And here I was thinking, I was doing the next best thing besides melted butter.
And..... this week I made this. It's a Mexican dish of squash, chicken, and corn. Check out this video.
And the next step......
And so everything went in and I left it for Al to have for dinner.
So, two days later I ask him "Honey how his dinner was the dinner I left you in Bella?"
He grabs my hand and said, "You know I really love you?........But.........."I'm just not a one pot meal kinda guy!"
OMG, I went all semester making him meals left and right in Bella and all this time he hated it! Oh well, I will still use my Bella but not as often!
I still love her and think she is nothing short of amazing! I will just be more selective when and how to use her! I'm still Bella's number one fan!
